【Course】English Placement Exam Information for 2023 Spring

■ Purpose: 
(1) to take the Freshman English course
(2) to waive the Freshman and Sophomore English

■ Eligible Applicants: (sign up online "https://form2.thu.edu.tw/550490" in advance)
1. Winter transfer students in academic year 2022-2023
2. Other students

■ Online Test Date: February 6 (Monday) (8:00 a.m.) to February 17 (Friday) (5:00 a.m.), 2023

■ Exam Platform: THU iLearn digital platform (https://ilearn.thu.edu.tw/)
1. Check the attached "how to log in and take the exam" before taking the exam.
2. Each student can do a test only once.
3. The exam lasts 70 minutes.
4. Log in using the Tunghai username and password as the username and password
5. There are Listening section (20 questions) and Reading section (40 questions).

■ After taking the English Placement Exam:
(1) Students who want to take the Freshman English course need to fill out the “Online Manual Add Application Form” on the ELC website from February 13 (Monday) to 17 (Friday), 2023.
(2) Students who want to waivie the Freshman and Sophomore English need to apply from February 6 (Monday) to 17 (Firday), 2023.
